Event Overview:

As a result of record rainfall from May 17th to May 19th, several rivers across the region had significant flooding. The Saginaw River and Tittabawassee River in Midland, MI had historic flooding, which led to the catastrophic failures of the Edenville and Sanford dams north of Midland and subsequent flash flooding emergencies downstream.
